The first artists to make Burnley LET shop their home are moving in this week. ArtYarn are part of the engagement strand of the LET project, and are working with Towneley Hall to make tea cosies for their teapots. Liberating Empty Terrain (LET)
Turning empty spaces into creative places across Pennine Lancashire
Town centre spaces across Pennine Lancashire will be transformed this summer through an exciting new project called LET (Liberating Empty Terrain).
LET aims to use town centre spaces to showcase the work of creative industries from across the Pennine Lancashire region. The spaces will be a mix of outdoor spaces and empty shops. The project aims to bring artists’ work direct to the public to enjoy in places they may not usually expect to see such activity.
Over the next year this blog site will bring updates, previews and reviews of the LET work across the region.
